The New Feature

Recently we have added a new feature to the zoobedo site - the long awaited public resume. Under our current free subscription you are able to create 5 resumes, and each one can be tagged as a "public resume". The public resume gives you two links in the form of:

http://zoobedo.com/popup/resume/public/?resume=XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX

and

http://tinyurl.com/XXXXXX

this allows for your resume to be used on any number of clients including twitter, email, blog postings, and the list goes on. We are working on a facebook application so that you can embed directly to your facebook profile. And we are also working on plugins so that you can embed them directly to your blog or website. To create a public resume, it is quite easy, simply:

Click on "Make this resume public" when adding a new resume.

Then you will simply click on the "show public url" button, and grab the url for your resume and you are off.

The Idea in the Works

We are also looking at building a section onto the site that will help increase your chances for landing your ideal job. We are looking to partner with the top recruiters in their respective areas across the US. Look for this feature coming late spring 2009. Also let us know if this is a feature that you are looking forward to, or if there are other features that you might want that aren't available as of yet.

The Startup Competition

Nothing much to say here other than zoobedo.com has been entered in the innovatend.com competition. Keep your ears open around spring time when they announce the winners of the competition. Below is an exerpt from the innovatend.com site:
